Jody Apap is the Papa of Papa's Best Batch. After years of smoking meats, fishes, and cheeses in his Hudson Valley, NY, backyard, Papa tried marinating and smoking a batch of pistachios.

The overwhelmingly positive response from friends motivated him to turn his craft into a business.
